How Tusk works

Tusk integrates easily into a Shipper’s existing operational software, such as a Warehouse Management System or Transportation Management System. This integration allows a Shipper to print Tusk labels onsite, whenever Tusk is the best option for a parcel, based on cost, speed or service.

Tusk coordinates a once daily parcel pick-up from each of its shippers’ facilities, usually in the late afternoon or early evening, and then injects those parcels into the Tusk network. These direct injections are optimized by the
Tusk team to afford the Shipper the fastest deliveries and lowest possible shipping costs.

Proactive Tusk support

Once parcels have been submitted into the Tusk network, the Tusk team proactively monitors each parcel to ensure a strong customer experience. When issues arise – they will! – Tusk steps in quickly to fix the problem directly with the carrier partners, with limited action needed from the Shipper. Tusk also proactively notifies Shippers when we think an issue may arise with a parcel, giving the Shipper the option to proactively notify its customer that a parcel may not arrive on time, but that it’s being watched closely.
